Every year at this time, children and young adults prepare to return to school to continue their educational paths. Students are required to purchase necessary supplies, such as backpacks and other items. Unfortunately, many families have difficulty obtaining these essentials.

The EACH School Backpack Giveaway is assisting our members by providing essential school supplies to families and to newcomer families who may not be aware or able to provide the school needs of their children.

All children, regardless of their backgrounds, should walk into school, with a backpack and the basic supplies needed to succeed.  Our mission is to provide an investment in our students that is an investment in our future.

تقوم حملة EACH لتوزيع حقائب المدرسة بمساعدة أعضائنا عن طريق توفير اللوازم المدرسية الأساسية للأسر والعائلات الجديدة المهاجرة اللذين قد لا يكونون على علم بمتطلبات المدرسة لأطفالهم أو غير قادرين على توفيرها.

Registration - التسجيل

EACH, through the donations of our patrons and partners, is excited to supply a limited amount of free school backpacks to our community’s children. Supplies are limited. To qualify, you need to live in the Houston area, register, and bring your child to pick up the backpack. One backpack per child. Backpacks are clear, 18 inch, and suitable for schools in the Houston Area.

Backpack distribution

  • Sunday, August 13, 11:00 am- 1:00pm
  • Cafe Layal, 6328 Richmond Ave, Houston, 77057 (no purchase necessary)

Reserve backpacks through the registration link below. Any backpacks not reserved will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

All of the items being supplied to our children are being purchased though tax-deductible donations to our organization. If you would like to donate monetarily, click the donation button below.

Suggested donation levels

  • $20 – Provides ONE child with a brand new backpack  
  • $40 – Provides TWO children with brand new backpacks 
  • $80 – Provides FOUR children with brand new backpacks

All donations are tax-deductible as EACH is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Donation receipts provided upon request.
