Our Mission
The Egyptian American Club of Houston EACH is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, with a diverse platform based in Houston. EACH was created to address the unmet needs of our community by sharing resources, networking, and benefitting from the expertise of our members in various fields. We are inclusive, and we welcome everyone.
Our board members
Nesreen Ibrahim
President & Founder
Dr Nesreen Ibrahim M.D. is a double board certified Physician. In addition she has an MBA from University of Leicester in UK.
Dr Ibrahim came to USA in 2003. Since then she has been serving our community and working with multiple nonprofit organisations.
Karim Nashed
Board Member
Karim is from Alexandria, Egypt and graduated from the French School Saint Mark. He received his B.S. in Commerce English section, University of Alexandria. He is fluent in Arabic, English, and French. He has held various positions including accounting manager for Pinto Ranch, senior accountant at Petroserv Inc, and branch manager at QNB Bank. He obtained his license in residential and commercial real estate in 2019 and currently works as a realtor at NB Elite Reality.
Mohamed Kamal
Board Member
Mohamed graduated from college Saint Marc and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, where he earned a degree in Nautical Studies and Maritime Transport. He has experience as a Merchant Marine Captain on different types of merchant ships. He moved to the USA in 2000 and began his career in marine survey and consultancy, including investigations of marine risks and losses. He has been a member of the Nautical Institute in London since 2011 and served as a board member in the Rotary Club in the Houston area.
John DeWitt
Board Member
Dr. John DeWitt earned his Ph.D. from UTMB Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, and has an MS from Arizona State University and dual BS degrees in Engineering from the University of Toledo. Dr. DeWitt was a senior researcher at NASA Johnson Space Center for over 20 years. In addition, Dr. DeWitt is passionate about using science to improve human performance and currently works with multiple professional MLS and NBA teams.
